3. Formation Of Word And Sentence.

Formation of word :
A word is combination of two or more consonants. And same is true about marathi script. Two or more consonants combines to form a word. It is shown below: 

E.g., हा+ त = हात =  hand  (pronounced as “haat”)

हा (pronounced as “ha”)  +  त (pronounced as “ta”)  =  हात = hand 

Formation of sentence :
The sentence is a combination of more than two words.We may define it as a group of words. And same is true about the marathi script. Two  or more words combines to form a sentence. It is shown below:

E.g., My name is sheela  - माझे नाव शीला आहे- [ pronounced as :- Mazhay now sheela aahay.]

[My = माझे,   name = नाव ,     sheela= शीला,      is= आहे]
You can’t translate it literally, if you do so, it will become wrong sentence like – My name sheela is. It is the uniqueness of every language that you can’t translate it literally.
