Vegetables : Many vegetables are commonly found across the globe. So we can find their names in both languages. Otherwise for exotic vegetables we have to call them as it is according to the language of particular exotic region and we cant translate them into our native language. However I have tried to translate available common vegetables  to the best of my try. Here I am providing the names of vegetables in English and Marathi scripts. You will certainly enjoy reading  and pronouncing them. 

Vegetables  [भाजीपाला ] (Bhajipala):
Vegetable  = भाजी [Bhaji], Vegetables  =  भाज्या [Bhajya]
Green vegetables  =   हिरव्या भाज्या [Hirvya Bhajya]
Radish  = मुळा [Mula]
Cauliflower  =    फुलकोबी /  फ्लाॅवर [Full-kobi / Flower]
Cabbage  =  कोबी [Kobi]
Beetroot  =   बीट [Bit]
Carrot = गाजर [Gajar]
Laddies finger / oakra =   भेंडी [Bhendi]
Drumsticks =  शेवगा शेवग्याच्या शेंगा [Shevga /Shevgyachya Shenga ]
Brinjal /eggplant = वांगी [Wangi]
Garlic  =   लसून[Lasun]
Patato  =  बटाटा [Batata]
Sweet Patato  =  रताळे [Ratalay]
Tomato  =  तमाटो [Tomato]
Ginger  =  आले [Alay]
Green peas  =  मटार /  वाटाणा [Matar / Watana]
Capsicum  /  Pepper / Bell pepper =  ढोबळी मिरची  [Dhobali Mirchi]
Cucumber =   काकडी [Kakadi]
Bay Leaf = तेजपत्ता [Tejpatta]
Onion  =   कांदा [Kanda]
Cluster beans = गवार [Gavar]
Spring onion  =   कांद्याची पात [Kandhyachi Path]

Bottle gourd =   दुधीभोपळा [Dhodi-bhopala]
Ridge gourd = दोडका [Dodaka]
Green beans / French beans = घेवडा [Ghevada]
Curry leaves = कडीपत्ता [Kadipatta]
Yam = सुरन [Suran]
Ivy gourd =  तोंडली [Tondali]
Sweet corn  =  मका [Maka]
Mushroom = आळंबी [Alanbi]
